How to Install Google Glass Homescreen on Android
Google Glass is the trending gadget of the moment and everyone wishes to get their hands on it. Unfortunately it’s not yet available, so not everyone can buy the revolutionary gadget. But there’s good news for those who want to get the feeling of Google Glass.
Thanks to developer Zhouwei Zhang you can now install the Google Glass homescreen on your Android device and use it. While it won’t feel exactly like the Google Glass, you will get to try the software that comes with it.
The Google Glass homescreen comes as an .apk file and you can easily install it on your device. All you have to do is head to Settings > Security and enable “Unknown Sources,” which allows you to install apps from outside the Play Store. For security reasons you should disable the setting after installing the homescreen.
The glasshome-modded.apk file is located , where you can directly download it and install it.The app will be called Glass Home and once you start it you will get to see how the Google Glass interface looks like. You can now use voice commands to activate different functions of the app.
If you want more features, you can also install the maps, camera or hangouts modules, which are located at same link we provided you a bit earlier. You should know that it might not on all devices and there might be bugs, so for most it’s not going to be an app for daily use, but it should be enough until you manage to get your hands on Google Glass.
